Varsity & JV Coaches


Coach Russ Greenwood - Head Offensive Line Coach

Coach Greenwood is a former Lancer student-athlete and played football for the Lancers from 2010-2014. He enters his seventh year as a Lancer coach where he has served as a Freshman, JV, and Varsity coach. He enters his third season as the head offensive line coach for the Varsity team. Greenwood has helped assist the offensive and defensive line since coming on board in 2016 and is also an assistant wrestling coach for LHS. Greenwood sits on the board of directors for the NH Football Foundation.

Coach Sam Carey- Special Teams Coordinator and Receivers Coach

Carey begins his seventh season as part of the Lancer’s staff. Carey was a three-sport athlete at Manchester West and went on to play football at Plymouth State University. After graduation, Carey followed his playing career by coaching the three sports that he once played. He was an assistant Varsity football and was also the Head Basketball Coach at Manchester West from 2007-2010. He has since become a teacher at Londonderry High School and has coached football, basketball, and baseball for the Lancers. Carey has helped create an aggressive special teams culture that has outscored their opponents by 80 points over the last five seasons.

Coach Bill Clement- Linebackers and Running Backs Coach 

Clement joined the Lancers in 2015 as the defensive backs coach. Over the last eight seasons, Coach Clement has helped mold and improve the defense at Londonderry. Clement was a standout defensive back at Manchester West where he and Lauzon were teammates. He went on to graduate from UNH and received his master’s degree from SNHU. Clement joined Lauzon as a coach in 2011, serving as his defensive coach over the past 10 years.


Coach Zach Ziemba - Defensive Backs & Slot Receivers

Coach Ziemba has returned to the Londonderry Football program for the 2022 season after previously serving as the Linebackers coach in 2018. Ziemba is a former player for Lauzon, where he played defensive back and quarterback at Manchester West High School in 2011 & 2012. Ziemba continued his playing career at Plymouth State University where he had much success, eventually becoming the MASCAC Defensive Player of the year, NEFWA All-New England Team, and a finalist for The Cliff Harris Award, which is given to the best


Coach Jimmy Curro – Tight Ends and Linebackers

Coach Curro is also a former Lancer student-athlete who played football, track, and lacrosse from 2004-2008. He continued his football career playing at St. Lawrence University. After playing, Curro became a graduate assistant at Iowa State University while studying for his Masters. He enters his second year coaching the TEs and LBs at LHS where his focus is to ensure personal and professional growth on and off the field of football.
